We are a family owned Irish Pub and independent off-licence. Based, in the heart of Kildare Town, only 5mins drive/15mins walk from Kildare Village shopping outlet and the M7 motor way , opposite the tourist office and bus stop.
We offer a great pint & a friendly atmosphere, along with a range of micro & marco beers, excellent wines, great spirits and delicious coffee.
Our business opened its doors 1945 when John Boyle returned from America and fell in love with Kildare Town. He was originally from Galway and grew up as the son of a publican, so when he decided to start a business in Kildare it made sense for him to open a public house. Since his death in 1992 the pub has been run by his son Jarlath. Jarlath opened an off-licence on the premises in 1991. Since then Jarlath has been joined in the business by his daughter Judith.
It is our hope as a business that we give our customers good service and a friendly atmosphere to relax in. We strive to keep our prices competitive and our drinks selection excellent.
Currently due to Covid-19 restrictions our bar is closed but our off-licence is open for all your drink needs!!
