D) The principles of food and wine pairing Friday May 28th @ 7:30pm


This fun, interactive & informative workshop is a deep dive into how and why we pair wines with particular foods.

Wine experts, Judith Boyle (beverage lecturer at TU Dublin Schools of Culinary Arts, International beverage judge, award-winning writer, WSET trained, Champagne Academy Member) and Susan Boyle (drinks writer and presenter ) will lead you through the tasting on Friday the 28th of May @ 7:30pm

For this tasting you will receive 5 wines and a tasting kit of flavour pairings containing the elements needed for food matching. Following the workshop, you will have a practical understanding of why wine and food taste even better together!

(Allergen Note: we will be providing flavour samples to taste along side the wines, some of these samples will contain dairy and gluten each will be individually packed. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us)

Tasting pack contains:

  • 5 X 100ml samples (the wines are specifically chosen to highlight the different elements that are found in wine that interact with the flavours and tastes in food- acidity, tannin, residual sugar, salinity etc)
  • a tasting kit of flavour pairings containing the elements needed for food matching (please note allergen notice above)
  • Details of the wines tasted & a break down of the principles of food matching
  • Access to the live online tasting with detailed tasting instructions

Tasting will take 90 minutes with plenty of time for questions.

An email will be sent out to you with the link for the tasting two days before the tasting so please check you have left the correct email address in the order form

**For delivery please place order before Tuesday 25th May @12pm so that you will receive your samples before the tasting on Friday the 28th
